Admitted "boundaries" violating priest Fr. Jim Rolph scheduled for pre-Christmas return to ministry
Diocese of Lansing parish to welcome back pastor after stay at "behavior health center"
A Diocese of Lansing, MI priest removed from ministry in October for "having trouble establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries" is set to return to his parish on Dec. 17.
“This has been a difficult season in my life,” Fr. Jim Rolph writes to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in the Dec. 10 bulletin.“[B]ut I am confident that God (as He always does) will bring good out of it. He is in control and I am in His hands.”
Neither Rolph’s November letter about his upcoming sabbatical nor his recent letter announcing his return include any acknowledgement of the numerous complaints against him, including horrific reports of severe spiritual abuse.
Rolph will return to ministry after spending several weeks receiving counseling in a “behavioral health center,” according to the Diocese of Lansing.
